Spring is my absolute favourite time of year. It means I don’t have to deal with these annoying winter problems anymore, my wardrobe is a lot more colourful and breezy, and flowers are blooming all over the place (my idea of paradise).
So what better way to welcome the season than by using your favourite flower to inspire your next nail polish colour. Or if you don’t have a favourite, you can always try them all…
PEONIES = Pastel pink
A great everyday colour that’s suitable for work and play. Just make sure to find a formula that’s nice and opaque
ROSES = Red
You’re a classic beauty and red is always a good choice. Look for more orangey-reds during spring and save the ox bloods for winte
TULIPS = Hot pink
You’re obsessed with colour, so the brighter fuchsia you can find, the better
HYDRANGEAS = Pastel blue
This can be a tricky nail colour to find, but is well worth it once you do. It should be almost white, with just a hint of blue
CHRYSANTHEMUMS = Orange
Orange is a very underrated nail colour. Try a bright pop of neon orange on your toes or a peachy hue on your fingers.
MAGNOLIAS = White
White nails that are a little on the sheer side are very ‘in’ at the moment. If you don’t like them to be stark white, look for polishes with a hint of pink
