After announcing disappointing sales figures in January, the high street chain are fighting back with a summer collection that’s more fashion focused than ever
2016 may not have been the strongest year for Next but the outlook for 2017 is looking rosy.
In an announcement made by Chairman John Barton on March 23, he identified the company’s key objectives for the year ahead.
One key area outlined in the announcement was the company’s commitment to continue to develop their buying and design capabilities; delivering better design, improved quality and quicker response to new trends, while also re-building some of their heartland business.
Next have already delivered on their promise to improve response times to new trends with the new ‘fast fashion’ offering.
By making sure they turn around all the key trends and get them onto the shop floor as quickly as possible, they can not only compete with the likes of Zara, but it means they also have a constant flow of new merchandise to tempt customers with.
Their summer 2017 collection, shot by legendary street style photographer Phil Oh @mrsreetpeeper, is looking particularly strong and there are lots of pieces we can’t wait to get our hands on.
